Lenexa, Kan. (Sept. 24, 2024) — Farm Journal, U.S. agriculture’s leading business information and data insights company, has named Chris Seper as executive vice president, Farm Journal brands. He will lead the company’s audience center of excellence, which includes the editorial, broadcast, audience development, events, content studios and product development teams.
Seper’s career as an entrepreneurial media executive includes experience in events, local, digital and broadcast journalism and a history of delivering financial and audience success on a wide range of platforms. He has built and exited a successful digital B2B media startup company, MedCity News, and created people-centric, performance-driven cultures to deliver focused results, monetize audiences and increase market share. Seper now sits on the board of directors of MedCity’s acquirer, Breaking Media.
After MedCity News, Seper held digital general manager roles at E.W. Scripps and Nexstar Media Group, where he pioneered strategic expansions into connected TV. Seper is deeply rooted in journalism, with more than a decade as an award-winning journalist at newspapers including The Philadelphia Inquirer and The Cleveland Plain Dealer.
